STAFFELBACH – the interior architecture and design firm based in Dallas, Tx. asked me to help them with their web presence. They needed a unique website that could feature their best work in a way that would differentiate their brand, and also feature several types of media ranging from videos, news and press releases.
Based on their previous website they also stated the need to include significantly more content, and to have the site easily updatable, and be able to grow over a series of years, and to withstand foreseeable technological changes.
Multiple layout options were presented to the client and this layout, (which is based on the golden mean) was chosen for its design that presents the contents in a way that emulate the experience of reading a coffee table book.
Each section of the website uses the main image area as either a slideshow that displays related project content, or as an iconic menu of client work. The area below the image slider is dedicated to project descriptions, media archives, and text based content.
This iteration of the STAFFELBACH site has been active for several years now, and has proven to be very updatable and has had many content additions as well as updates to accommodate tablet and mobile devices.
