This is a design I created for a live electronic music event named Harvest taking place in L.A. in April 2018. My client asked for something minimal and dark. Considering the amount of text that needed to be represented I took an abstract approach to the design and played around with the dimension on the page and focused on the typography. I also incorporated some night sky photography and different patterns to add visual interest to support the text.
The primary graphics were a poster / flyer and two sizes of motion graphics intended for social media advertising. One vertical and one square. The square design needed to move around the image in order to feature the contents so it needed a different approach and consideration due to the form factor.
