The founder of the Cartesian Binary label noticed a niche in the electro-pop genera and signed several artists onto her roster of talent. In order to properly roll out the new label named “Pok Pok Records” I was asked to create a website to promote the label artists and their new releases.
This site is designed within a CMS template that the client had selected and I was working with the original developer. Due to the structure of the site already being in place I focused on the color palette and slider imagery. The images in the header and sidebar on each page has a different illustration featuring different images from Portland and the surrounding area.
The intention is that the header and sidebar would be on a randomizer and on each page there would be a different combination between several images, always giving the site visitor a chance at a new combination of imagery.
